Terms of Use

1. Welcome

Women Arise is a Christian community for women discovering their calling, stewarding their gifts and building legacy together. These Terms of Use apply to the Women Arise website and to the Women Arise apps for iOS and Android. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms, to our Community Guidelines and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 or older to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password private.
• You may not share your account or impersonate another person.
• You may delete your account at any time from Profile.

3. Zero tolerance for objectionable content

Women Arise has zero tolerance for abusive, threatening, discriminatory, sexually explicit, harassing, hateful, fraudulent, dangerous or otherwise objectionable content or behaviour. Content and behaviour of that kind may result in immediate removal of the content, suspension of your account, or permanent removal from the community.

4. Content you post

• You keep ownership of what you post, and you give Women Arise permission to display it inside the community for as long as your account exists.
• You confirm that you have the right to post it, including images, recordings and music.
• We may remove any content that breaches these terms or the Community Guidelines, without notice.

5. Reporting, blocking, moderation

Every member can report a message and block another member. Reports go to the Women Arise moderation team, and we aim to review valid reports within 24 hours. Blocking is personal: it hides that member's content from you only, and the member is not told that you blocked them. Only authorised Women Arise administrators can remove content for everyone, suspend an account or permanently remove a member.

6. Not professional advice

Women Arise, including the Selah journaling companion, devotions, challenges and wellness prompts, offers encouragement and reflection. It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. Please speak to a qualified professional for those needs, and in an emergency contact your local emergency services.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we publish a new version number and ask you to accept the updated version the next time you open the app. Continuing to use Women Arise after accepting means you agree to the updated terms.
