What data is deleted
When you delete your WomenArise account, the following personal data is permanently removed from our database:
Your profile
Journal entries
Journal chats with Selah
Reflection diary entries
Saved devotionals
Chat messages
Message reactions
Challenge check-ins
Challenge participations
Event RSVPs
Gallery uploads
Your account credentials
What data is kept and for how long
Some data must be retained for a short period for security, legal compliance, or technical reasons:
Security logs: IP addresses, timestamps, and app-crash diagnostics are kept for up to 90 days to prevent abuse and investigate issues.
Backups: Encrypted database backups are automatically rotated and purged within 30 days. Your personal data will no longer be restorable after that period.
Data others may have received: Messages or images you shared in the community chat may have been seen or saved by other members. We cannot delete copies that other users have already downloaded or screenshotted.
